Core concepts
Workspaces, decks, brand kits, projects, files and credits, the building blocks of Preso.
Workspaces
Everything lives in a workspace: your decks, brands, projects and files. You can have more than one, which is how an agency keeps one client separate from the next. Switch between them from the menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Nothing is shared across workspaces.
Decks
The core artifact. You describe what you want and Preso produces a structured, on-brand presentation: sequenced slides with the right layouts, typography, charts and imagery.
Slides
Each slide is an editable building block. Describe a change and Preso restyles the layout, swaps a chart, or rewrites the content, keeping everything on-brand. You are never stuck with what the model gave you.
Themes and templates
Themes set the look, colors, fonts and slide layouts, in one move. Start from a template for a pitch deck, sales deck or QBR, then make it yours.
Brand kits
Your colors, fonts, logo, voice and reusable layouts in one place, under Brands. Every generation respects it, so on-brand is the default rather than a review step.
Projects
Optional. A project is where you keep decks that share context, and it remembers three things so you stop repeating them in every prompt:
- Instructions: standing rules for every deck in the project. Who the audience is, what to open on, words never to use.
- Brand: pick one and every deck in the project is built in it.
- Files: the documents those decks are written from.
A deck built inside a project starts already knowing all of it. Nothing is forced into a project, and deleting one keeps its decks and files, it only removes the grouping.
Files
Every document you upload is kept under Files, whether you attached it to a deck, dropped it into a chat, or imported it from Google Drive. Preview what is inside a file, see how much space you are using, and reuse a file in a later deck instead of uploading it twice.
Credits
Preso charges credits for the work the AI actually does. One credit is one cent. A deck costs credits based on the real cost of the model call, so a short deck costs less than a long one. Every new workspace starts with $2 of credit, you can top up at any time from Billing, and credits never expire.
Locales
Translate and localize any deck into the languages you sell in, with the design intact and formatting adapted per locale.
