Credits & billing
One credit is one cent. You pay for the AI work you actually use, and credits never expire.
How pricing works
One credit is one cent. Generating a deck costs credits based on the real cost of the model call behind it, so a short deck costs less than a long one, and a bigger model costs more than a smaller one. You are charged for what you use, not for a seat you might not fill.
Credits never expire.
What costs credits
Anything that calls the AI: generating a deck, generating an outline, regenerating a slide, restyling a deck, and chatting with the assistant. Editing slides yourself, presenting, and exporting do not cost credits.
Your starting balance
Every new workspace starts with $2 of credit, which is enough to build a deck or two and see what you get.
Topping up
Buy credits from Billing. You can also turn on auto-refill, which tops you up automatically when your balance runs low, so a generation never fails halfway through a deck you needed.
Running out
If your balance reaches zero, Preso will tell you before it starts work rather than leaving you with half a deck. Top up and carry on.
Bring your own AI gateway
If you would rather pay your model provider directly, set your own AI gateway in workspace settings. Preso then uses your key and does not charge your credit balance.
Referrals
Give someone your referral link and you get $50 in credit when they pay for anything. Your link, and what it has earned, are on the Referrals page.
