Troubleshooting

The problems people actually hit, and what to do about them.

My deck is not on-brand

Set up a brand kit and pick it when you generate. If you are building several decks for the same client, set the brand on a project so every deck in it uses that brand automatically. See Brands and Projects.

Writing a BRAND.md inside the brand kit makes the biggest difference to voice. Colors and fonts fix how a deck looks; BRAND.md fixes how it sounds.

The deck ignored my document

Open the file in Files and preview it. For a Word or PowerPoint file you will see the text Preso extracted. If that text is empty or garbled, the deck had nothing to work from. Some PDFs are scans, images of text with no text layer, and cannot be read.

The deck ignored my instructions

Project instructions apply to decks built inside that project. If you built the deck from the dashboard without choosing the project, it did not see them. Pick the project in the composer, or build from inside the project page.

A prompt can also override an instruction. That is deliberate: the thing you just asked for wins.

I ran out of credits

Top up in Billing, or turn on auto-refill so it does not happen mid-deck. See Credits & billing.

A deck I made has disappeared

Check which workspace you are in, using the menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Decks belong to a workspace, and so do files and brands. See Workspaces.

Google Drive is not showing my files

The connection is read-only and covers the files in the connected Google account. If you connected the wrong account, disconnect it in Connectors and connect the right one. If the grant expired, the page will say so and offer to reconnect.
